Our first stop will be in the town of La Ceja, recognized as the bicycle municipality of Colombia. La Ceja offers a perfect blend of cultural charm and natural beauty. With it’s vibrant streets, colonial architecture and warm hospitality, this charming town invites visitors to immerse themselves in it’s unique atmosphere. We will enter in one of it’s most typical cafes.

Salto del Buey

One of the crown jewels of La Ceja is the breathtaking Salto del Buey. Tucked away in the verdant countryside, this magnificent waterfall captivates the senses with its thundering cascade and serene surroundings. As you approach the falls, the misty air and the symphony of rushing waters create an ambiance of tranquility and wonder.

At the waterfall, the Lenard effect happens when water droplets break apart, resulting in charge separation. These droplets become negatively charged, generating an electric field. This ionizes the surrounding air, which can benefit health and enhance mood. Additionally, it offers valuable insights into natural ionization processes and their effects on atmospheric conditions.
